Did you know that worship is more than just singing songs, dancing, playing music, acting in church dramas, and writing stories about the Bible? Prayer, reading the bible, waiting on the Lord, resting in His presence, helping others, and sharing the Bible and what God has done are also part of worship.

Jesus told a Samaritan woman, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)

The Lord is looking for those who worship with their whole being in spirit, their soul, mind, and body. Everything that we do for the Lord is an act of worship to Him. The Lord may give ideas to produce movies, games, animations, shows, books, products, and dramas are an act of worship. Our body is a temple before the Lord and must have a pure and holy connection. Jesus wants a relationship with us. We must live a life that pleases God. We need to exercise self-control over the flesh, which is our old nature and its habits. Love others as Jesus does and forgive them. Live as Jesus did.

Moses went into the tabernacle every day, but Joshua was still in the tabernacle when Moses went out to speak to the people. Both of them had a direct and close relationship with the Lord and worshiped Him by the Spirit. David also worshiped God in the spirit. He wrote many psalms in the Bible. He shared his heart with God. Worship should be about deep intimacy with the Lord.

The Holy Spirit is known to be a worshipper and loves to create new songs. He gives us the ability to worship God in spirit and truth, and for long periods. He gives the spiritual language that can engage us in worship at a level that our physical senses can’t. When we serve others with the gifts that God gives us, we are worshiping the Lord.

Worship is 24/7, and the Lord wants us to be always present with Him. We must be aware of what we do, as the busyness of life can make us forgetful.

The Lord wants us to remember Him “continuously.”

When we obey what He tells us to do, we are worshipping Him. Remember that worship is what you do for the Lord and do it with all your heart, spirit, soul, mind, and body. When you do anything for Him, it must be with a sincere, pure, and holy heart. The Lord wants us to be honest before Him in everything. He knows everything about us even before we speak. He wants to spend time with us all the time.

Giving worship to God brings blessings!

Children will learn that worship is giving honour and love to God. It is more than dancing and singing, but showing God how much we love Him. It is important to put Him first. God commanded the children of Israel to worship Him only. In heaven, the angels and those who belong to the family of Jesus Christ will also worship Him. There is 24 hours of worship to God in heaven. Learn why the enemy doesn't want us to worship God.
