The Lord knows what is best for you. He may or may not give you what you asked for. Sometimes, you have to endure accepting a job opportunity that you don’t want. It may be a time of transition, but you need to follow the Lord’s instructions.

Pray and seek His face and worship Him.

Give thanks to Him knowing that you will come through this and get into another opportunity that you want. You may not get the promotion right away, and the Lord knows when you are ready to advance in your career. There are lessons and tests that we must overcome to move ahead.

Breakthroughs happen when you keep on seeking, thanking Him, having a faith-filled attitude, and putting God first. You look for opportunities to be a blessing to others and to listen to His voice to follow His instructions. He will direct you to the right opportunities. They will open up for you.

Speak the Word of God into your situation to change it. Bless and pray for those in your workplace. Create an atmosphere of faith. Expect the Lord to make a way for you. Disregard looking at the circumstances around you.

It is a challenge to maintain your attitude when you don’t like the job. Dealing with people isn’t easy. You need to learn to exercise self-control and do your best with the opportunity. Your pastor may tell you that you need to be thankful that you have a job. In your mind, you struggle because that is not the job that you want. You feel that 3 months is too long. Sacrifices have to be made first. There are opportunities that God has for you that you can't see until you are in the job.

He will never let you go through what you can't handle. He will always make a way out for you. Overcome the enemy by holding onto the Word of God and His promises every day. The Lord will give you the open doors and breakthroughs that you need.

You need to resist the devil. Do not fall into temptation but learn to disregard your negative thoughts and emotions. Learn to rejoice and honour God who is always watching you. Do not forget Him. Stay in the presence of the Lord. Keep a guard over your heart. Ask God to show you a vision and for the Holy Spirit to empower you.

God opens doors to bless us,

but the devil opens doors to lead us astray and rob us.

Our gifts open doors for us to people of great influence when we use them for the Lord. Give the Lord glory in all you do. Recognize the doors that God opens up for you and step into them. They will close if you don’t take them, and you don’t know when the next door will open. It will never be the same. He always knows what is best for you. Be sensitive and follow Him.
