"Soul Threads" is a short read about a happily married couple facing magical challenges.
One day, I was complaining to my husband that most romance books end when the couple gets together. Where were the romance stories for married people? I figured if I was complaining about it, then I had better write it, and that's how this banter-filled story began! I wanted to highlight that romance shouldn't die after marriage and what healthy relationships look like. It's a witty, flirty read that's meant to put a smile on readers' faces.
My husband is hilarious, so whenever I write the lines for Pilder's character, I just ask myself, "What would my husband say?"
I was intending to leave the novella as a standalone, but readers kept saying they couldn't wait for the sequel, so I took that as a sign to continue the story. That's how the next novella, "Bone Threads," was born. It has undead dragons, pirates, and tropical islands!

Pilder and Rilla Duskhand have been summoned to deal with a mysterious magical orb. No problem!
